Well hello again,
Welcome back to my newsletter - it’s been a while and I’m so glad to have you back! Featuring Apple events and keyboards, I think you’re gonna enjoy this, so sit back, and read…
General tech news (what's going on)
As you probably heard, there’s an Apple event coming up, and rumours of MacBooks with an upgraded version of the M1 chip, possibly called the M1X, but I think they might called it M1 bionic, like their A series chips. In case you missed it, there’s also a new Apple watch, new iPhone, and new iPad mini.
On a less apple related note, it’s also the fifth anniversary of popular JS framework Next.js, and they are holding a conference to celebrate! I think that Nextjs live will be out of beta, so I’m excited. Make sure to grab a ticket!
Product(s) of the (two) week(s)
Mesh gradients (Figma plugin) - I love mesh gradients a lot, and my profile and twitter banners have been half hearted attempts at them. If I new about this when I created my banner and photo let’s just say they’d be a lot cooler - £9.99 annually
Logitech MX keys - Wow a physical product, but yes, it’s the keyboard I write this newsletter on, and the back-lit keys are absolutely brilliant. Sadly it’s really expensive and they charge £20 for a palm rest (you heard me right). - £99.99
Typefully (affiliate) - Typefully (it’s free) is how I write and schedule my tweets, and I would give it credit for my twitter growth. Try it out at typefully.app. The link also gives you a discount on typefully pro. - £Free with paid options
